This avoids redundancy and ensures optimal usage of database. Sage CRM offers different ways in which we can set the dedupe behavior which he have already shared in our previous blogs.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em><strong>Related Post:<\/strong><\/em><\/span> <a title=\"Change the standard dedupe behavior\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2010\/05\/05\/change-the-standard-dedupe-behavior\/\" target=\"_blank\">Change the standard dedupe behavior<\/a><br \/>\nWell, when users create new Company\/Person they directly land on New company\/person screen instead of having DE duplication screen. This actually happens when De-Duplication is <b>set to No<\/b> in Data Management. In order to Enable De-Duplication you have to follow steps enlisted below:<br \/>\n1 Go to <b>Administration |System | System Behavior<\/b><br \/>\n2 Click <b>Change <\/b>button.<br \/>\n3. Set <b>Deduplication<\/b> to <b>Yes<\/b><br \/>\n4. This will enable deduplication.<br \/>\n<b>De-Duplication is enabled and you are still getting error message?<\/b><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Img-3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Img-3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Img-3.jpg\" width=\"880\" height=\"105\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nError shown above is because of Match rules are not set in Sage CRM. So follow the steps given below to set match rules.<br \/>\n1. Go to <b>Administration | Data Management | Match Rules<\/b><br \/>\n2. Click <b>New<\/b><br \/>\n3. Select <b>Match Field<\/b><br \/>\n4. Select <b>Match Type<\/b><br \/>\n5.
