This feature is provided by SageCRM out of the box on email screens. However we can also extend this functionality to other areas of CRM.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em><strong>New Stuff:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><a title=\"Changing Link text of URL fields\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2014\/08\/02\/changing-link-text-of-url-fields\/\" target=\"_blank\">Changing Link text of URL fields<\/a><br \/>\nIn this blog I will explain the trick we can use to enable rich text editor for Multiline text fields. Let us assume for an example, we want to add Multiline text field named <strong>\u201cUser Signature\u201d<\/strong> on user entity to capture email signature for every user. Here is how you can do this and enable rich text editor for the field.<br \/>\n1. First create a field named \u201c<strong>user_signature<\/strong>\u201d as multiline text field on Users entity.<br \/>\n2. Add this field to <strong>User Admin Extra Box <\/strong>screen to display on User Details section.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8417 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG1-1024x449.jpg\" alt=\"IMG1\" width=\"595\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n3. Add below <strong>JavaScript<\/strong> in <strong>Custom Content<\/strong> field of <strong>User Admin Extra Box <\/strong>screen and click <strong>Save <\/strong>button.<br \/>\n<em>&lt;script src=&#8221;\/&lt;CRM INSTANCE NAME&gt;\/fckeditor\/fckeditor.js&#8221; type=&#8221;text\/javascript&#8221;&gt;&lt;\/script&gt;<\/em><br \/>\n<em> &lt;script src=&#8221;\/&lt;CRM INSTANCE NAME&gt;\/CustomPages\/FCKFields.js&#8221; type=&#8221;text\/javascript&#8221;&gt;&lt;\/script&gt;<\/em><br \/>\n<em> &lt;script&gt;<\/em><br \/>\n<em> FCKFields(&#8216;user_signature&#8217;);<\/em><br \/>\n<em> &lt;\/script&gt;<\/em><br \/>\n4. Copy below code and paste it in notepad.
