Here are the steps to achieve the same.<br \/>\n1) Login to the Sage CRM as an <strong>Administrator<\/strong> user.<br \/>\n2) Navigate to <strong>Administrator<\/strong> | Customization | <strong>Company.<br \/>\n<\/strong>3) Navigateto<strong> Screens <\/strong>tab andselect <strong>CompanyBoxLong<\/strong> screen.<br \/>\n4) Select <strong>Company Name<\/strong> field (i.e. Comp_name) from the Screen Contents section and add below code in CreateScript section of screen.<br \/>\nmaxlength=&#8217;10&#8217;;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/FieldLength.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8461\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/FieldLength.jpg\" alt=\"FieldLength\" width=\"626\" height=\"222\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n5)\u00a0Click on <strong>Update<\/strong> button and then click on <strong>Save<\/strong> button to apply changes.<br \/>\nOnce this is done, you can navigate to <strong>New Company<\/strong> screen and observe that the <strong>Company Name<\/strong> will be limited to a maximum of 10 characters.
