In this blog post, we will explain highlighting the field that is currently in focus on Sage CRM v7.2.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: rgb(153, 51, 0);\"><strong><em>New Stuff<\/em><\/strong>: <\/span><a title=\"Some facts about Metadata Refresh\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2015\/01\/09\/some-facts-about-metadata-refresh\/\" target=\"_blank\">Some facts about Metadata Refresh<\/a><br \/>\nLet\u2019s consider that you wish to highlight the field which is currently in focus on Company Summary screen in which below panels are visible.<br \/>\n1) Company<br \/>\n2) Address<br \/>\n3) Phone\/E-Mail<br \/>\n4) Contact<br \/>\nThe current focus fields on the above panels can be highlighted with client side API in Sage CRM v7.2. Here are the steps that you need to follow.<br \/>\n1) Login to Sage CRM.<br \/>\n2) Navigate to below path.<br \/>\nAdministration | Customization | Company<br \/>\n3) Navigate to <strong>Screens<\/strong> tab and click on the CompanyTopContent screen.<br \/>\n4) Copy and Paste below code into the Custom Content section of screen.<br \/>\n&lt;script&gt;<br \/>\ncrm.ready(function()<br \/>\n{<br \/>\ncrm.highlightCurrentField(&#8220;Yellow&#8221;);<br \/>\n})<br \/>\n&lt;\/script&gt;<br \/>\n5) Click on\u00a0<strong>Save <\/strong>button.<br \/>\nOnce done, navigate to New Company or Company Summary screen and you will find that the current field gets highlighted with a color.
