With graphs we can summarize a large data into well-structured format and easily compare two or three data sets. It also offers better clarification of trends than the table format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/product\/professional-services\/sage-intacct-development-services\" target=\"_blank\">Sage Intacct<\/a>, we can use the Custom Report wizard to create graphs. These graphs can also be added to dashboards. Even the Standard report graphs can be added to the dashboard.<br><br>To create a Custom Report, Go to&nbsp;Platform Services &gt; Custom Reports&nbsp;&gt; click Add to create a new report\/ click&nbsp;Edit&nbsp;to make changes to an existing report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\" start=\"1\"><li>Choose the appropriate data source object.<\/li><li>Add the columns that are to be included and arrange their sequence.<br>Selecting minimum of 2 columns (one for X-axis and other for Y-axis) is necessary for a Graph report.<\/li><li>You can add totals, calculated columns as well.<br>It would be good and more preferable to add a column that includes some calculations (such as a sum, average, etc.) to use for the X axis.<\/li><li>Apply column sorting if required.<\/li><li>Next step is to enable grouping without which we cannot create a graph output for a report.<br>Apply filters and grouping according to your reporting need.<br><p><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagebusinesscloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Add-Groupings.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagebusinesscloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Add-Groupings.png\" alt=\"Enable Grouping\"><\/a><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagebusinesscloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Add-Groupings1.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagebusinesscloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Add-Groupings1.png\" alt=\"Select Grouping Column\"><\/a><\/p><\/li><li>Select the chart output as graph. If no option is available to select implies that the created report can&#8217;t be interpreted into a graph output.<br>Available chart types are:<ul><li>Line chart<\/li><li>Column chart<\/li><li>Stacked Column chart<\/li><li>3D Column chart<\/li><li>Stacked 3D Column chart<\/li><li>Parallel 3D Column chart<\/li><li>Pie chart<\/li><li>3D Pie chart<\/li><li>Bar chart<\/li><li>Stacked Bar chart<\/li><li>Area chart<\/li><li>Stacked Area chart<\/li><li>Scatter chart<\/li><li>Polar chart<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Select the chart type which best suits your need. Choose the X axis and the Y axis columns.
