Therefore, using this application, Sage Intacct users can easily define commission rules and automate commission payments on sales transactions.<\/p>\n<p>In this blog, we are sharing details about Commission group status where there is the ability to activate or inactivate a commission group. See the below screenshot.<br \/>Sales Commission &gt; Commission Group<\/p>\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageintacct\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Commission-Group.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageintacct\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Commission-Group.png\" alt=\"Sales Commission Status\" \/><\/a><\/center>\n<p>To prevent the commissions from being calculated upon Invoice postings, user can inactive the Commission group.<\/p>\n<p>For Parent-Child groups it is considered that if the Parent group is inactive then no commissions will be calculated for Child groups as well. However, if any of the Children group is inactive, then except that group commissions will be calculated for other Children groups of the selected Parent group.<\/p>\n<p>All the calculated\/posted\/paid commissions prior to inactivating the group remain as it is. Also, those commissions would show up on the commission reports.<br \/>The \u201cinactive\u201d status will have effect on the commission calculations for Invoices posted after the group is inactivated.<\/p>\n<p>In the cases where employees are to be given commission after a certain period, users can create and keep the Commission Group &#8220;inactive&#8221; for that period and later activate it from the point when commissions are posted upon Invoice postings.<\/p>\n<p>This is a standard feature incorporated with the Sales Commission application.
