The Sales Commission app<\/a> assists\u00a0Sage Intacct<\/a> users to automate commission processing. It helps to simplify commission tracking and ensures accurate commission calculations and payments. Based on entered structure, commissions are calculated on sales transactions. Using this, Sage Intacct users can easily do the commission calculations and automate commission posting and payments on sales transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This blog provides in-detail information about where to see the calculated commission after invoice posting. where to see the distributed commission amount between employees and specific to employee if it is paid or not. We have already elaborated in our previous blogs about commission calculation and posting. https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageintacct\/2021\/12\/24\/commission-calculations-and-postings\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On posting the Commission Expenses, the entry is recorded in the View Employee Commission list, wherein you can keep a track of paid commissions. In the View Employee Commission screen, you can view all the Invoices related to an Employee along with their calculated share of sales commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To view this screen, go to the Sales Commission menu<\/strong> \u2192 View Employee Commission.<\/strong> Here, you can view the Employees with their calculated sales commissions.<\/p>\n\n\n

When Commission is paid for any recorded entry, its status is marked as paid (checkbox is set to true) and Paid Commission amount and date are updated along with the batch no. for Journal entry and bill number for AP Bill (for reference purposes to track the generated Journal entry or Bill).<\/p>\n

Using this screen, you can easily find and maintain the details related to commissions calculated for specific employees.<\/p>\n

For tracking these details, about how much commission is calculated, whether it is paid or not, or sales representative is tagged in transactions or not, we have created a custom report as well using that you can easily track the details of various transactions related to a sales commission.<\/p>\n

  1. Employee Commission Report \u2013<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In the Employee Commission Report, you can view all the Invoices related to an Employee along with their calculated share in sales commissions. You can filter the report with the Invoice created date and Employee and you will get the information as shown in the image below. This screen will show all the commission information about the share of commission of the employee in the particular invoice.<\/p>\n

    To run this, Go to the Sales Commission <\/strong>menu \u2192 Employee Commission Report<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Using this Custom Report, you can easily track, manage, and get all the commission-related details for all sales representatives for a specific period, and you can check whether the commissions are paid or yet to pay. If the commissions are already paid then you will get details of the paid amount.<\/p>\n\n\n
