On paper, they may look like small enhancements. But from a practical standpoint, they solve some real operational gaps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two updates especially caught my attention:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Customer Health Insights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smart Rules &amp; Smart Events now working with AP and AR reversals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me explain why these matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Customer Health Insights \u2013 Finally, Finance Gets Visibility<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>In most companies, customer health data lives in a CRM. Finance teams rarely see it unless someone shares a report. That separation creates blind spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, Sage Intacct allows you to store customer health details directly in the customer record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three new fields have been introduced:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Health Score (0\u2013100)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health Status (Healthy, At Risk, Escalated, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Churn Risk (True\/False)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It sounds simple. And honestly, it is. But the impact can be meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagine opening a customer record and immediately seeing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health Status: At Risk<br>Health Score: 62<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without switching systems. Without waiting for a meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a finance user, that changes the conversation. Instead of reacting at renewal time, you can align early with Sales or Customer Success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This moves finance from \u201creporting what happened\u201d to \u201canticipating what might happen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another practical advantage: these fields can be populated through API or CSV import. So syncing data from your CRM is straightforward. No complex customization required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not a flashy feature. But it\u2019s strategically useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Smart Rules &amp; Smart Events Now Trigger on Reversals<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This one fix something that has quietly bothered administrators for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, if you reversed an AP bill or AR invoice, Smart Rules and Smart Events wouldn\u2019t trigger. That meant automation (Smart Rules and smart events) worked for AP Bills and AR Invoice creation \u2014 but not for reversals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which is odd, because reversals can be just as sensitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With R1 2026, that gap is closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now when a reversal creates a new record, Smart Rules and Smart Events can trigger \u2014 provided your conditions match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few technical details worth noting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only the \u201cAdd\u201d event triggers automation for reversal records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Editing a reversal later won\u2019t trigger it again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smart Rule warnings are not supported during reversal operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are small limitations, but they\u2019re important to understand during configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From a control perspective, this enhancement is significant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, if an AP bill is reversed, you can now:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Automatically notify a finance lead<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trigger an internal workflow<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Record compliance actions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start downstream processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In regulated environments, this makes automation more consistent and audit-friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: Medium;\"><strong>About Us<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greytrix has a wide product range for Sage Intacct- a Cloud ERP.
