In standard MAS 500, memos are created to store additional information for entities such as customers, vendors, items and salespersons. User has to enter the data manually for creating the memos. Please refer the screenshot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the client has to create a large number of memos, it would be a time-consuming task. In order to ease the process of creating memos, we have created a utility which shall import memos from data files such as excel, csv, xml etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data file should contain all the required fields regarding the memo and the entity for which the memo has been made (vendors\/customers\/salespersons\/item).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The utility reads data from the files and imports them into MAS 500. This greatly reduces the manual time consuming work. Users can open and edit the imported memos using the \u2018Memos\u2019 task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
