There must be two lines entry-level (debit and credit). The totals of the debit and credit for any transaction must always equal to each transaction so that an account transaction balance always perfect and match.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Multiple companies may use the larger number of journal entries in every day in order to balance the General ledger accounts. If the client has to create a large number of journal entries, it would be a time-consuming task.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/2017\/02\/24\/item-types-in-inventory-management-in-sage-500\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Item Types in Inventory Management in Sage 500<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to ease the process of creating journal entries, we have created a utility which shall import journal entries from data files such as CSV etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The data file should contain all the required fields regarding the journal entry i.e. Account no, amount<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CSV File records: GL Account no, amount<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>For example<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>00000000SW,-85.10<br \/>\n1010000000,-150.30<br \/>\n1020000000,-85.00<br \/>\n45001000SE,-150.40<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the data file contains the amount in positive means import utility will consider it is the debit amount.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the data file contains the amount in negative means import utility will consider it is the credit amount.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Image1-2-1-1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1276 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Image1-2-1.jpg\" alt=\"Process journal transaction\" width=\"609\" height=\"385\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The user will need to generate a new batch number, set the Posting Date, and leave Entry Type as Standard.
