In this blog, we would discuss about the available options to convert Item masters into Sage 100 ERP. We convert masters by using below mentioned methods from Sage 50 US (Peachtree), QuickBooks. In this blog, we have taken the example of Sage 50 ERP.<\/p>\n

New Stuff:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Available option to migrate AR customer into Sage 100 ERP<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Now, we will discuss about migrating masters into Sage 100 ERP. Unlike Sage 50\u00a0every item defined in Sage 100 ERP\u00a0needs to have an item code. In migration process GUMU allows you to generate item codes for Items using four methods:<\/p>\n

  1. Auto Number:<\/strong>Numeric item numbers automatically gets generated using a user-defined starting number and a user-defined increment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n
    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stating Number<\/td>\n1010<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Number increment<\/td>\n10<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    Say for e.g. if you want to assign fist item code as 1000 and next code should get generated by 10 then it would look like as 1010, 1020 and so on as shown below:<\/p>\n

    1. Item Initials:<\/strong>Item numbers are generated using first N user defined initials of item name and next three characters will be a number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Item Name:<\/strong>Item numbers are generated using first N (N is user-defined value) characters of item name and next three characters will be a number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Peachtree Item ID: <\/strong>Item number can be converted as they exist in Sage 50 US. If length Source item number is greater than 20 than item number gets truncated to length 20.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
