As we have seen that Master Order tracks the original ordered quantity and the remaining balance as sales orders are created. This implies that if the Master Order created is for quantity 50 and Sales Order created is for quantity 25, then Master Order\u2019s balance quantity will reduce to 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Creating Standard Sales Order &#8211;<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\">Open the sales order entry screen in Sage 100 Company and click for new order. By default it will take &nbsp;order type as Standard Order.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\">At the right side of screen, select the master\/repeating-order number in the <\/span><strong style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;\">Master\/Repeating No<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\"> field on the Header tab. With the references to selected Master Order, system will create a new sales order based on selected Master\/Repeating order. Here we are selecting our previous master order&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\">\u20180000223\u2019.<\/span><\/span>\n<figure><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/01.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Creating Standard Sales Order\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/01.jpg\" alt=\"Creating Standard Sales Order\" width=\"760\" height=\"548\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/figure><div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\">Once user has selected the master order number from Lookup, system populated all the values in the sales Order from Master order.<\/span><\/span>\n<figure><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/02.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"sales Order from Master order\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/02.jpg\" alt=\"sales Order from Master order\" width=\"715\" height=\"517\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/figure><div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\">Navigating to the Line Item tab gives user the option to change the ordered quantity for Items. By default line takes all available ordered quantities from selected Master Order line quantities for Item. Once user changes or enters a new ordered quantity for Item, the Master Order is automatically get updated so as to make the total Master Order quantity to the sum of remaining Master Order quantity and Sales Order quantity.<\/span><\/span>\n<figure><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/03.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Master Order quantity and Sales Order quantity\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/03.jpg\" alt=\"Master Order quantity and Sales Order quantity\" width=\"715\" height=\"517\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/figure><div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\"><span style=\"text-indent: -18pt;\">The updated Masters Order\u2019s quantities can be seen under the \u2018Balance\u2019 column of Lines tab of Master Sales Order.
