This is done by using the \u201cCopy From\u201d feature of Sage. <b>Copy From<\/b> feature can be used to copy the exact details, discounts, extended description, etc. into a New Sales Order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users can use the Copy From feature to enter a Sales Order or Quote. This feature can save time during Sales Order Entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To use this, the user should simply click the Next Number (#) button for the next Sales Order Number. After the selection of the number, the page refreshes and provides an enabled \u201cCopy From\u201d button on the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/01-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/01-1.jpg\" alt=\"Copy From feature to enter a Sales Order or Quote\" title=\"Copy From feature to enter a Sales Order or Quote\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On clicking the Copy From button a Lookup window appears which provides different Select options like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Existing Sales Order<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quote History<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invoice history<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/02-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/02-1.jpg\" alt=\"\u2018Copy from\u2019 dropdown\" title=\"\u2018Copy from\u2019 dropdown\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Once we select any above options; e.g here we selected Sales Order in &#8216;Copy from&#8217; dropdown &#8211; another dropdown &#8216;Order Type&#8217; appears with below options<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard Order<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master Order<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeating Order<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Price Quote<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back Order&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the selections in the \u201cCopy From\u201d and \u201cOrder Type\u201d fields, user gets option to search the desired Record to Copy From Number look up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/03-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagemas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/03-1.jpg\" alt=\"Sales Order module\" title=\"Sales Order module\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, on processing the selection, data is copied from the record and is populated for the New Sales Order.
