It is a common routine for companies to transfer the inventory from one warehouse to another warehouse. During this movement, stock value of an inventory from one house increases, and the stock value of another warehouse decreases. There is a mechanism in Sage 100 through which one can easily record this inventory movement and keep track of their inventory.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span> To records this movement, one can follow the below steps \u2013<\/span><\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Let\u2019s assume that we want to transfer the item \u201cCABLE WIRE\u201d from warehouse \u201c000\u201d to warehouse\u201d099\u201d. \u00a0<\/span><\/span>\n
  2. Open the Item Transaction Entry screen from \u201cInventory Maintenance >> Main >> Transaction Entry<\/i>\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\n
  3. On the screen, select the type as \u201cTransfer\u201d to record this inventory transfer and select \u201cTransfer From Warehouse\u201d and \u201cTransfer To Warehouse\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\n
  4. On the Lines tab, enter the amount of quantity that you want to transfer between the warehouses.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\n
  5. Click \u201cOK\u201d to complete the transaction and post it commit the transaction.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Now, go to \u201cItem Maintenance\u201d screen and observe the changes in the Quantity group. On hand quantity values have been changed again the warehouses.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
