It gives an idea of which historical date a particular Sales Order was issued which helps us to keep a track on the number of Sales Order and Sales Quote activities in previous years.<\/p>\n<p>By default, historical and deleted orders are not retained in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/sage-100-erp\/\">Sage 100<\/a> Company Database.<br>So to keep the historical and deleted sales orders and sales quotes in the Sage 100 company database, we need to follow the below-mentioned steps.<br>Open Sage 100 Company and go at Sales order \u00e0Setup \u00e0Sales order options<\/p>\n<p>Here you can see the options are unchecked which might have done while setting company configuration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/gumu\/sage-crm-sage-100-integration\/\">GUMU&#x2122; Sage 100 Integration<\/a>&nbsp;Trial&nbsp;|&nbsp;Video&nbsp;|&nbsp;Blog<\/p>\n<p><strong>Years to Retain Sales History Option<\/strong><br>1. Enter the number of years to retain sales history for all customers and product lines. You can retain between two and 99 years of sales history. Sales history is retained until it is purged using the Purge Sales history utility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<figure><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-Z0fb5ZY5Vzg\/UndtIifgI1I\/AAAAAAAACew\/WraENLHCAOI\/s1600\/deleted101.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"sage 100 sales order\" src=\"https:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-Z0fb5ZY5Vzg\/UndtIifgI1I\/AAAAAAAACew\/WraENLHCAOI\/s640\/deleted101.jpg\" alt=\"sage 100 sales order\" width=\"640\" height=\"246\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/figure><div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-indent: -18pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">2. Now check the status ON of \u2018Retain Sales Orders\/Quote history option.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-indent: -18pt;\">Once we check the above check box option, we can see the below two&nbsp;drop-downs &nbsp;becomes editable.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-_b7mW4l79jQ\/UnduvAcBHBI\/AAAAAAAACe8\/_Qokv642en4\/s1600\/deleted2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"sales order options\" src=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-_b7mW4l79jQ\/UnduvAcBHBI\/AAAAAAAACe8\/_Qokv642en4\/s640\/deleted2.jpg\" alt=\"sales order options\" width=\"640\" height=\"242\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/figure><div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">There are 3 options against \u2018Retain Deleted orders \/Quotes \u2018in drop-down. The below screen will appear select NO option from both drop-downs I\u2019e \u201cRetain Deleted Orders\/Quotes and Retain Deleted lines for Orders\/Quotes\u201d (Refer the above screenshot) then also you can see the orders in sales order history.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Yes: If the above checkbox is checked and YES option is selected from both the drop-down I.e. \u201cRetain sales Orders\/Quote History\u201d, then Sales order will not be displayed in Sales History.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Prompt : If \u201cPrompt\u201d option is selected from both the drop-downs i.e. \u201cRetain sales Orders\/Quote History\u201d ; then it will prompt you to save the deleted order in History.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Us<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/\">Greytrix<\/a>&nbsp;is a one stop solution provider for Sage ERP and Sage CRM needs.
