The success of an enterprise system mostly depends on the variety of reports it can generate in order to fully scrutinize and make a correct business decision. At times, it so happens that the users tend to feel, that some reports are not as per their requirement and they want to modify them.\u00a0To Custom Reports in Sage 100, Sage 100 ERP<\/a> (earlier known as Sage 90\/200 ERP) has provided a module \u201cBusiness Insights\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With help of this module, reports can be created for every module, customized, or can even modify the existing reports by following below instructions.<\/p>\n

In order to create a custom report, there are certain pre-requisites which Users needs to fulfill before starting:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A user needs to have Business Insights installed on his Sage 100 System.<\/li>\n
  2. A user needs to have at least one report in the Sage 100 system.<\/li>\n
  3. Crystal Reports must be installed on a machine.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Let take an example, say we want to create a custom reports in Sage 100 which will show \u201cCustomer List\u201d. Thus to create customized reports follow the below-mentioned steps.<\/p>\n

    1. In Sage 100 ERP, Navigate to Business Insights -> Reporter-> Business Insights Reporter, and click on Create Report button on the Business Insights Reporter window. A window would appear containing all the customized reports created previously on the system. However, if a customized report does not exist, then the Welcome page of the Business Insights Reporter Wizard will launch. Proceed through the wizard to create a report. Click on next button, for creating a report.<\/li>\n
    2. Give name and description to reports; a select module for which report will belong and click on Next button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Now the window will appear where a user needs to select the information they want to show in the report, after selecting the options click on Next button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Now, select fields that you want to see on the report.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Select fields on which you want to sort the reports.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Select the report group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
