Sage X3 provides a special variable to know the current variable value in case of input, initialization, selection or help mode.<\/p>\n

Variable:<\/strong><\/p>\n[S]zc<\/p>\n

The type of ZC depends on the context. That is it corresponds to the type of the variable being entered (at the time the check or help is executed) or being initialised.<\/p>\n

It means if you are entering any integer value then ZC will hold type as an integer. If you are entering characters then ZC will hold type as alphanumeric.<\/p>\n

Let’s have a look on below snippet for better understanding:
\nIn an event associated with a mask, we are checking the YQTY field value.
\nIf zc < 100, we are assigning 100 to zc(i.e. zc=100).<\/p>\n

Subprog C_YQTY(VALEUR) # event called from the mask
\nVariable Integer VALEUR()
\nIf zc < 100
\nzc = 100
