While creating miscellaneous receipt transaction in Sage X3, we will often get an error \u201cValuation price null not authorized! <\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n

Particularly, this error is generated for the products which are not having the value or gross price in stock.<\/p>\n

\"Valuation<\/p>\n

We can overcome this by the following steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Navigate to : Setup > Stock > Valuation method.<\/li>\n
  2. Select AVC (Average cost) transaction from the left list.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on search icon available in the \u201cMethod\u201d block.<\/li>\n
  4. A pop window will appear, check the \u201cNull cost allowed\u201d checkbox and save the modification.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If \u201cNull cost allowed\u201d flag is set to yes, the system will accept stock movements without value.<\/p>\n
