We may come across a scenario where we get “record already exist’ error while creation of transactions and masters. The problem can be solved by using below steps:<\/p>\n

In below screenshot, we have faced an error while creating a product.<\/p>\n

Error On Product Master<\/p><\/div>\n

This error occurs because the product of sequence number BMS089 already exists\u00a0in the X3 for the same sequence number.<\/p>\n

To overcome this error navigate to<\/p>\n

Development > Utilities > Miscellaneous > Sequence Number Values<\/strong><\/p>\n

Select the category of the product i.e. “BMSOL” in Seq counter field and enter number “90” in next value field as shown in below screenshot and click on save.<\/p>\n

Now again create a product.<\/p>\n

Product Master<\/p><\/div>\n

Product “BMS090” is created successfully in X3 as shown above screenshot.\u00a0Similarly, a user can solve this problem for other transactions and masters also.<\/p>\n
