Suppose we are doing some customizations in Sage X3 where we need to add some fields in existing or new tables\/screens. This field added should also display its short name or description, this becomes very easy in Sage X3.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s proceed with an example, if we have added Chart of Account field within a screen it becomes a logical need that the COA Description should be displayed next to it.<\/p>\n

The only thing to get this Account Description is set the LINK [parameter of the field] = LONG (Long Description)\/SHORT (Short Description), check the screenshot below:
