In Sage X3, we can create a number of entry transactions for any function. The entry transactions are used to define various frameworks to enter the different types of entries. Each recorded entry will be so recorded on an entry transaction.<\/p>\n

If there are multiple transactions for a particular function, an entry transaction dialog box will pop-up and would require the user to manually select the entry transaction to open the desired window.<\/p>\n

If a user does not want to get the popup of these multiple transactions or if he always needs single entry transaction then he can set up that particular entry transaction as default one for the respective function\/window.<\/p>\n

Please refer below steps to set the entry transaction as default one:<\/p>\n

Steps :<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Navigate to: Development > Script Dictionary > Functions<\/li>\n
  2. Enter Function code.<\/li>\n
  3. Enter your desired entry transaction in variable GFLAG on the grid Variables.<\/li>\n
  4. Save the record and validate the respective object.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Example:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    If you want to set \u201cALL\u201d as your default entry transaction for Sales order function then perform the following steps.<\/p>\n

    1. Navigate to: Development > Script Dictionary > Functions<\/li>\n
    2. Enter Function code as \u201cGESSOH\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Enter the value as \u201cALL\u201d in variable GFLAG on the grid Variables.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Save the record and validate the \u201cSOH\u201d object.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Now, whenever you will open Sales order screen, you always will be able to enter into \u201cALL\u201d entry transaction.<\/p>\n
