As we aware that in Sage X3, whenever we do any changes in standard screen, we need to validate that screen along with its respective window. But sometimes, the changes do not get reflected unless we do entry transaction validation of that particular function. In Sage X3, we not only can manually validate these entry transactions but also can validate them through patch. So, if you want to deploy your customizations on another folder, instead of manually validating respective entry transactions after patch integration, you can simply add validations in the patch to be integrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can achieve this by simply adding a standard code file associated with that particular entry transaction validation screen. To better understand this consider below example. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ex., If you want to validate sales order transaction then follow the steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to :<\/em> <\/strong>Setup > Sales > Entry transactions > Orders<\/li>
  2. Check the screen code (SLC0) and find out the standard file SUBSLC associated with it.<\/li>
  3. Add \u201cSUBSLC\u201d into your patch as follows.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Create patch and integrate it on required system.\nYou can see the changes made to sales order screen gets reflected on that\nfolder without manually validating entry transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
