As discussed in our previous blog the Database Mass Update allows creation\/modification\/deletion of information in Sage X3.<\/p>\n

We would explain the execution of the tool with an example of deletion of the table data. In the below e.g. the ZGACCENTD [detail] acts as the main table whiles the ZGACCENTH [Header] and ZGACCENTA [analytical] remains as the linked table.<\/p>\n

The linking criterion for these tables are based on the indexes of the tables.<\/p>\n

The screen also offers the option to define the parameters to be used in the Database Mass Update.<\/p>\n

The other Tab on the screen allows the user to enter a conditional formula as per their requirement. Apart from this the \u201cSection Update\u201d has an option to select various functions which can be done for the tables listed i.e. \u201cDeletion\u201d, \u201cModification\u201d and \u201cCreation\u201d.<\/p>\n

Once the tool is configured the execution will result in actual operation as set in the Update Section, which can be either in Test\/Real mode [as per the settings preferred by the user]. Once the operation is completed a new log file will be generated displaying the details of the data effect.<\/p>\n
