In our previous blog, we have discussed regarding the process to create a Back-to-back order by using the sales orders. In this blog we will see How to create a Back-to-back order if sales order is on manual hold.
However, in a Sage X3 when sales order status is on manual hold, then user can\u2019t create a purchase order by using back to back order functionality.
In a Sage X3 version 12 release, there is an enhancement to prevent a purchase order generation when back to back sales order is on manual hold.<\/p>\n

To enable this amendment you need to follow the steps below.<\/p>\n

Navigate To: Sales >Orders>Sales order<\/p>\n

1. As you can see in below screen shot, your sales order is on a manual hold.<\/p>\n\n\n

If we try to create a purchase order by using Back\nto back functionality from right panel, then system won\u2019t allow to create a\npurchase order because the order is on manual hold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While creating a back to back order you will get the error <\/strong>\u201cOrder SONAO0110062 has manual hold\u201d <\/strong>error. <\/strong>Refer the below log error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To allow a purchase order generation, when Sales order is on manual hold follow the below steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate To:Development> Data and parameters> Miscellaneous tables > Enter 204 table.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set Back -to- back equal to \u201cNO\u201d<\/strong>. Refer the below screen shot <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, we can create a Purchase order by using back to back order functionality, when sales order is on manual hold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
