User may come across a scenario where they want\nto setup automatic determination of stock during a direct sales invoice\ncreation. It can differ from user to user. Some may want it automatically and some\nmay want it manually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This can be handled by doing a configuration in\nsales invoice entry transaction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow the below steps to configure\\use the above\nfunctionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to: Setup -> Sales -> Entry transactions -> Invoices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the above\ncheckbox is checked then user does not need to select stock manually while\ncreating direct sales invoice. System automatically picks the quantity from the\navailable stock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If\nthe product is managed by Receipt\/Issue serial\nnumber, the serial numbers are necessary and sufficient. Other entered\ninformation is not used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the product is managed by lot or\nlot\/sublot, the lot number or lot\/sublot numbers are necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if this checkbox is unchecked then user will need to select the stock manually while creating direct sales invoice. See below figure when user tries to create sales invoice with \u201cAutomatic determination\u201d checkbox as unchecked. User redirected to stock issue screen automatically. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
