Sometimes we may come under a\nsituation where we need to update fields in the same time when the workflow\ngets triggered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To update field on running workflow\nfirstly we need to select a workflow rule. I.e. at what action you need to\nupdate the field (For e.g. on Validation, rejection, notification, cancellation\netc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The action we need to add for this\nis AWRKUPDFLD<\/strong>. This action\nhas parameters where you can define the name of the table which is linked to\nthe object, fields which needs to be updated and the value of the fields. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can update only 4 fields with the help of AWRKUPDFLD. We can also define when this action is need to be triggered in \u2018triggering\u2019 field and also set a condition for its execution in \u2018execution condition\u2019 field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the above figure, we have\nmentioned the table abbreviation in ABREV field, mentioned the field name in\nFLD field and gave the value in VALEUR field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the same way we can update maximum 4 fields from the table at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hence, make sure the action checkbox is checked for this workflow rule. The fields get updated once this workflow get triggered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
