A Sage X3 user once in a while definitely comes across a situation wherein Sage X3 client closes once it is left inactive for a while. Well, actually this is a Security and efficiency feature which reduces the chances of someone using your Sage X3 login as well as reduces the performance burden on the server if you are not using the session.<\/p>\n

However, if you need to leave your desktop frequently and find it very inconvenient to login again and again then this blog is just for you.<\/p>\n

You can manage the time duration after which the Sage X3 Client will close automatically using the \u2018TIMEHGUP1<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to \u2018Parameters >\u00a0General Parameters >\u00a0Parameter Values\u2019.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Supervisor<\/strong> parameter and choose the Session Management<\/strong> details.

  3. Set the value for \u2018TIMEHGUP1\u2019 in seconds as per your convenience.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:<\/strong> Setting the TIMEHGUP1 to zero would disable the time-bound disconnection, however, it is recommended not to do so.<\/p>\n
