In Sage X3 there is some multiple type of movement code , found in Miscellaneous table 14. Basically movement code is used to specify when a product is received or issued . One of the predefined code is Status Change CHS which is used to further define the management rules on the product category by linking this code to a stock transaction when receiving or issuing a product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Sage X3 Common data-> Products-> product category, Receipts tab, there is  possibility to have two movement types type should be Miscellaneous receipt one with authorized status \u201cQ\u201d only and the other one for all authorized status(A,Q,R). The movement code \u201cCHS\u201d will be assigned to the Misc. receipt with the Q status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After adding movement type in product \u2013 category . It is possible to create a new miscellaneous receipt transaction (Setup -> Stock -> Entry transaction) and add a movement code to the movement code field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When accessing the misc. receipts function  Stock-> Receipt\/issue transactions, the user is presented with two or more entry transactions to pick from. If the entry transaction with the movement code CHS is selected, the stock can only be received with Q status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, if the ALL entry transaction is selected, it is possible to receive the product will all authorized statuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way we can use stock movement code in product category Keyword \u2013 Stock movement code<\/p>\n\n\n\n
