It is used to record, manage, and track issues related to products, materials, production processes, or deliveries that do not meet the required quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever any defect, quality issue, damaged material, process deviation, or specification mismatch is identified during production, purchase receipt, subcontracting, or inventory inspection, a Non-Conformance record can be created in Sage X3. This helps organizations maintain proper quality tracking and ensures that corrective and preventive actions are taken on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Non-Conformance functionality allows users to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Record quality-related issues in the system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Track defective or rejected items<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assign responsible users for review and action<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor quality investigation and approval processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain quality history and audit records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve overall product and process quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This screen is commonly used by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quality teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Production departments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stores and inventory teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purchase departments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Subcontracting process users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In Sage X3, the Non-Conformance screen provides options to assign a <strong>QA Manager<\/strong>&nbsp;and <strong>Planner<\/strong>&nbsp;during the quality process. To ensure proper authorization and avoid incorrect user selection, Sage X3 provides parameter settings that control which users can be selected in these fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Standard Functionality &#8211;<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the user setup parameters, there are specific options available for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>QA Manager<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Planner<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When these parameters are set to <strong>\u201cYes\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;for a user, only then can that user be selected as a QA Manager or Planner on the Non-Conformance screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the parameter is set to <strong>\u201cNo\u201d<\/strong>, the user will not appear in the selection list for those fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below is the step-by-step guide to enable and use this feature effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>QA Manager Parameter &#8211;
