Users can generate a Consolidated E-Way Bill<\/strong> and Multi-Vehicle E-way Bill<\/strong> now using Sage X3<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this purpose, we have developed a dedicated screen to manage and generate Consolidated E-Way Bills or Multi-vehicle E-way Bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this screen, the user must enter the required information in the Parameters<\/strong> section before proceeding with the Consolidated E-Way Bill generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Type<\/strong> drop-down provides the following options for E-Way Bill management:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Consolidated E-Way Bill \u2013<\/strong> Used to generate a Consolidated E-Way Bill for multiple individual E-Way Bills being transported in the same vehicle.
\u2022Multi-Vehicle E-Way Bill \u2013 <\/strong>Used when goods covered under a single E-Way Bill are transported in multiple vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The screen is designed to be dynamic. Depending on the selected E-Way Bill type, the system automatically loads and displays the relevant fields and parameters required for that process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will first review the process of generating a Consolidated E-Way Bill<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.Consolidated E-way Bill:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After entering the required information in the Parameters<\/strong> section, the user must press the Tab<\/strong> key. The system will then load all the fields required for generating a Consolidated E-Way Bill, as shown in the screenshot below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For generating a Consolidated E-Way Bill<\/strong>, the user is required to enter all mandatory information and select the relevant invoice numbers. The selected invoices will be grouped together, and a single Consolidated E-Way Bill will be generated for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once all required information has been entered and the relevant invoices have been selected, the user should click the “Consolidated E-Way Bill<\/strong>” button located at the top of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon successful generation, the system displays a confirmation message indicating that the Consolidated E-Way Bill has been created successfully, along with the generated Consolidated EWB Number<\/strong>, date, and time of generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the generated Consolidated E-Way Bill Number<\/strong> is automatically associated with and displayed for each of the selected invoices included in the consolidation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon successful generation of a Consolidated E-Way Bill, the “Consolidated E-Way Bill<\/strong>” checkbox is automatically marked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When this checkbox is cleared, the screen is reset to allow the generation of a new Consolidated E-Way Bill for a different set of invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the checkbox is selected, the finder displays all previously generated Consolidated E-Way Bill Numbers<\/strong>, allowing users to retrieve and review existing Consolidated E-Way Bill records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the user selects a Consolidated E-Way Bill Number <\/strong>from the finder, the system retrieves and displays all related Consolidated E-Way Bill details<\/strong> on the screen for review and reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.Multi-Vehicle E-way Bill:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the required parameters have been entered, the user should press the Tab <\/strong>key to proceed. The system dynamically loads the fields necessary for Multi-Vehicle E-Way Bill <\/strong>generation, as illustrated in the screenshot below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the appropriate E-Way Bill Number from the finder and press the Tab<\/strong> key. Once the E-Way Bill details are loaded, enter the necessary information in the Initiate Multi-Vehicle<\/strong> grid and click the “Save<\/strong>” button to initiate the Multi-Vehicle E-Way Bill<\/strong> process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Multi-Vehicle details have been saved, select the checkbox for the relevant record and click the “Initiate Multi-Vehicle<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon successful initiation, select checkbox again and enter the required vehicle information in the Add Vehicle<\/strong> grid and click “Save<\/strong>” to store the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, select the checkbox corresponding to the saved vehicle record and click the “Add Vehicle<\/strong>” button. The system allows multiple vehicle entries to be added through the Add Vehicle<\/strong> grid as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refer to the screenshot below for an illustration of the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After successfully adding a vehicle, status will be updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The user can update vehicle information by modifying the required fields and clicking the “Update<\/strong>” button. To update a vehicle’s details, the user must first select the checkbox corresponding to the vehicle record in the Add Vehicle<\/strong> grid. The Edit Vehicle<\/strong> button is enabled only after a vehicle record has been selected from the Add Vehicle <\/strong>grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the Multi-Vehicle E-Way Bill initiation process is completed, the “Initiated Multi-Vehicle<\/strong>” checkbox is automatically marked.
When this checkbox is cleared, the screen is reset to allow the initiation of a new Multi-Vehicle E-Way Bill for a different set of invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
