{"id":3755,"date":"2013-09-21T05:54:21","date_gmt":"2013-09-21T05:54:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/?p=3755"},"modified":"2018-11-12T13:04:23","modified_gmt":"2018-11-12T13:04:23","slug":"re-order-suggestion-in-x3-by-periodic-replenishment-method","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/2013\/09\/21\/re-order-suggestion-in-x3-by-periodic-replenishment-method\/","title":{"rendered":"Re-order suggestion in X3 by Periodic Replenishment method"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This post is the continuation of our previous post were we discussed about the functions of <a title=\"Statistical Re-ordering \u2013 How to create re-order suggestion in X3\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/2013\/09\/19\/statistical-reordering-how-to-create-reorder-suggestion-in-x3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Statistical Re-Ordering using the re-order threshold method<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In this Blog we will focus on the Statistical reordering through <b>Periodic processing method<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The New Stuff<\/span> : <a title=\"X3 Commands for Dynamic Changes\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/2013\/09\/19\/x3-commands-for-dynamic-changes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">X3 Commands for Dynamic Changes<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Periodic Processing<\/b>:\u00a0 The periodic replenishment method is used to determine a variable quantity suggestion for a date set according to certain criteria.<\/p>\n<p>During the calculation, the system proposes a suggestion that is based on the following elements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 Date of the last process<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Maximum stock<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Physical stock<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Stock with status Q<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Allocated stock (global, detailed, shortage)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Stock on firm order<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Let me explain you with example on how the suggestion is calculated: Consider a Product \u201cBike\u201d at Site D22, Maximum Quantity: 5000, Periodicity \u2013 7 calendar day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/img11.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3759\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/img11.png\" alt=\"img1\" width=\"738\" height=\"604\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Maximum stock = 5000; Re-order frequency = 7 calendar days; Reorder mode = By Period.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/img1a.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3758\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/img1a.png\" alt=\"img1a\" width=\"655\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Now here, Available Stock is calculated as [Stock with Status \u2018A\u2019 \u2013 (Allocated SO + Shortage) + Stock with Status Q] which will be equal to 300.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>There will be a suggestion when the date of the last process + periodicity (i.e. Re-order frequency) is greater than the current date<\/b>.
