So let\u2019s go to the User Parameters screen:\u00a0Parameters -&gt; Users -&gt; Users.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now select the user for whom the configuration is to be done. The list on the right displays the configuration settings for various categories as per module.<\/p>\n<p>Select the \u2018Supervisor\u2019 Module with \u2018INT\u2019 group. Now, right click and select \u2018Detail\u2019.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/UI1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/UI1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"746\" height=\"490\" \/><\/a>This would pop up the \u2018User Parameters\u2019 screen as shown below. There are 10 such parameters (shown in the below screenshot).<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/UI2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-421\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/UI2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"751\" height=\"607\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Automatic selection (AUTOSEL):\u00a0<\/strong>This parameter is used in the fields which has a selection with respect to the values in the table. When set to \u2018Yes\u2019, and the value entered in the field doesn\u2019t exist in the table then, one of the following three scenarios may occur:<br \/>\na. Selection window opens automatically and displays all the values whose code starts with the characters keyed-in if there is more than one.<br \/>\nb. If there is only one value, it is populated automatically.<br \/>\nc. If there is no value, an error message is displayed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calculate number of decimals (CALNBRDEC):\u00a0<\/strong>This parameter is to define the default number of decimals to be used in the calculator. This number can always be modified when using the calculator via right-click Decimals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legislation &#8211; selection filter (LEGFIL):\u00a0<\/strong>This parameter can be used to restrict a user to single legislation. Just enter\/select the Legislation to which a user has to be restricted.<br \/>\nAlthough the user will be able to see the records created for other Legislations, however, won\u2019t be able to create one.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Confirm abandon (CONFABD):\u00a0<\/strong>This parameter determines if whether the user will be prompted while abandoning of a creation, modification or a duplication of a record.<br \/>\nIf this parameter is set to Yes, the abandon of a record must be confirmed by the user.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Confirm copy (CONFDUP):\u00a0<\/strong>If the parameter is set to Yes, the copy of a record must be confirmed by the user.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Confirm deletion (CONFSUP):\u00a0<\/strong>If the parameter is set to Yes, the deletion of a record must be confirmed by the user.<\/li>\n<li><strong>URL (MAPDSP):\u00a0<\/strong>This parameter enables viewing map of a location as per the entries in the field. This parameter can be set to an URL that will be called to display a map related to an address. The parameter value must contain a calculation formula that will be evaluated to obtain the final URL.<br \/>\nThe parameters that can be passed are the variables of the AVISUPLAN screen, i.e.:<br \/>\n[M]CITY for the city\/town<br \/>\n[M]STREET for the street<br \/>\n[M]COUNTRY for the country.<br \/>\nIt must be noted that URLs can be called from the Country field and may access to paying services.<br \/>\nAlso, if the parameter is not entered, the MAP function won\u2019t be available.<strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Calculator history(HISTCALC):\u00a0<\/strong>This parameter determines the number of calculation entries to be maintained. The history of calculation can be accessed by right click on Calculator and select \u2018Archived\u2019 option.<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Parameters in batch trace (PARTRABTC):\u00a0<\/strong>When set to Yes, the log files of any batch task carried out under a given user account start with a comprehensive of the parameters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Presentation styles (STYLE):<\/strong>\u00a0This parameter is used to associate a user with a customized style.
