Continuing on the same topic, we will discuss the Signature Workflow of X3 but with some specialized scenarios in this blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>Related Post:<\/strong><\/em><\/span> <a title=\"How to Setup Quote Signature Management\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/2013\/06\/29\/how-to-setup-quote-signature-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How to Setup Quote Signature Management<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take an example of a business scenario wherein the business has three departments such as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Purchase Wholesale (PWHL),<\/li><li>Accounts (ACCT),<\/li><li>Purchase Retail (PRTL)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of the departments has a separate administrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now if a Purchase Request is raised through a PWHL department, it needs to get approved by the administrator of the respective department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We need to make sure that no admin other than the PWHL department is authorized to approve the request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the steps which we need to follow to set up the workflow in such a scenario:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Creating Users<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Admin Type<\/td><td>Email Address<\/td><td>Login<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>PWHL<\/td><td>PW@test.com<\/td><td>PWHL<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>ACCT<\/td><td>act@test.com<\/td><td>ACCT<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>PRTL<\/td><td>PRT@test.com<\/td><td>PRTL<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>User \u2018A\u2019 works under the Purchase Wholesale department, so the Purchase Request raised by him will be approved by the \u2018PWHL\u2019 admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>User \u2018B\u2019 works under the Accounts Department and thus the Purchase Request raised by him will be approved by the \u2018ACCT\u2019 admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>User \u2018C\u2019 works under the Purchase retail and hence, the Purchase Request raised by him will be approved by the Purchase Retail admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Changing the general parameter values<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Setting up Workflow for Purchase request.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>i) Screen: User Rule of Assignment (GESAWR)<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>This is an existing Assignment rule: \u201cPSHSIG\u201d. &nbsp;The line number 2 (in the above screenshot) has been deleted since it is not required in our Workflow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After deletion, the result will look like this: (refer below screenshot)<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>ii) Screen: User Assignment screen (GESAWV): Setup the data for Assignment rule \u2018PSHSIG&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>In the section \u201cValues\u201d, enter the name of the requester in the \u201cRequester\u201d column and in the User1 field, enter the recipient ID. (Refer below screenshot)<b>&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Acknowledgement or Rejection of Requests<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The purchase requests can be signed off from the workflow monitor screen. This screen can be accessed from the USAGE Menu.<br>Note that all the users who have access to the workflow monitor will be able to view the signature requests meant for some other recipients.
