By just using different Options (Numeric or Alphanumeric) in X3, one can validate data as it is fed in the system to reduce mistakes and improve accuracy and consistency.<\/p>\n

All data types can be assigned a list of options for validating data when it is entered later on. Let’s take an example. If we assign and option “A” to Alphanumeric data, then while entering data later on, the system will always accept the characters in uppercase.<\/p>\n
