However when X3 is installed or moved to a new machine, we need to install different components like JAVA component, print server component etc. on the same machine. In this blog we are going to discuss its Pre-Requisites and installation of JAVA Bridge Server component. Once we successfully install the JAVA component, we will move forward and check for its configuration in X3.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/2014\/04\/26\/guide-to-setup-x3-recurring-journals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener prev\">Guide to Setup X3 Recurring Journals<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Before we begin with installation we need to check if the JAVA bridge server is already set up or not. Login to your application server and open the following URL in Internet Explorer or any other http browser: <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost:27880\/infos\/index.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/localhost:27880\/infos\/index.jsp<\/a>. This is the default path for JAVA bridge server, but this might be different in your system if the default path was changed during installation. If the JAVA bridge is installed, you should be able to see the following screen. But if it isn\u2019t then we should move forward with the installation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/java1-1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5036\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/java1-1.jpg\" alt=\"java1-1\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a>So, here we are going to check the installation of Java server component version JAV.112<br \/>\nJava server component is available to download from Sage\u2019s website.<br \/>\nBelow is the <b>Pre \u2013 Requisites<\/b> for java server on windows platform.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/java1-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5037\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/java1-2.jpg\" alt=\"java1-2\" width=\"610\" height=\"279\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once you get the Java component just extract it and run the \u2018.exe\u2019 file in it. In Java server version JAV.112 it comes with the name <b>\u201cSafeX3V1JAV112.exe\u2019.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After running the \u2018.exe\u2019 file you will get the below installation setup screen. Here, you need to give a name to your JAVA component. We have used \u201cV6JAV112\u201d as the JAVA component name.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/java1-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5038\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/java1-3.jpg\" alt=\"java1-3\" width=\"697\" height=\"529\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Click on Next and Finish your installation.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, we are just half a way done with the installation. Now we need to configure the installed java server component with X3.
