During development in Sage ERP X3 we have come across the above scenario where in we have to launch an external executable from X3 and then wait for user to close that external application before moving further. But in between network issue arises and external application fails to flag X3 and the X3 screen remains still\u00a0and user gets a timeout message.<\/p>\n
To prevent X3 from waiting long time we have implemented Timeout in the code file. Please refer to the below snippet of code.<\/p>\n
