As described in our previous blog \u201cHow to Restrict the Modification of gross price\/Discounts\/Charges for Transaction<\/a>\u201d, we can set the gross price field to editable\/non-editable for a particular transaction. But sometimes we come across a problem wherein we want that user should not be able to change the price of a product in certain conditions i.e. while creating the sales order he should be able to edit the price for one line and for another line he should not be able to do so.<\/p>\n

We can achieve the above functionality using the below-mentioned price list setup:<\/p>\n

  1. Navigate to Setup->Sales->Price List->Reasons and set the two variables as Yes\/No. Set Price Change as \u201cNo\u201d if you don\u2019t want the user to change the gross price.\"img1\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Now navigate to Setup->Sales->Price List->Setup and add this code as a Reason in the price list.\"img2\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Now every time when the value from this price will be selected, the gross price field will be set to non-editable and rest of the time it will be changeable even on the same sales order.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
