In a business scenario you may want to restrict some products being added to a particular location. Sage X3 has a feature to handle this scenario. We can set up this in Location type of that location.<\/p>\n

Navigate to Common data>Product tables>Location types<\/span><\/p>\n

And check the \u2018Dedicated\u2019 flag, refer to the below screen shot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now click on the \u201cAssign locn\u201d button and navigate to \u2018Assignment\u2019 tab and assign the product which you want to allow and all the remaining products will be restricted to this location type..<\/p>\n

And click on \u2018Add\u2019 button and then click on \u2018Save\u2019 button to save it.<\/span><\/p>\n
