While working with the Sage X3 web services you may come across the error \u201cToo many published fields\u201d errors while web service publication.<\/p>\n

This error is due to the dimension value set maximum level on the transaction lines screen.<\/p>\n

To overcome the error follow the below steps:<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/b> Identify the transaction lines screen code for e.g. if its sales order then sales order lines screen is SOH4.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/b> Navigate through Development > Processing dictionary > Screens > Screens<\/u><\/i>. Enter the screen code identified in Step 1. Note down the activity code assigned to table block.<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/b>: Go to Activity Codes menu (Development > Data and parameters > Development setup > Activity codes<\/b>)<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/b>: Select Activity Code identified in step 2 and reduce the Screen dimension to 500<\/p>\n

Step 5: <\/strong>Hit \u201cSave\u201d to save the new screen size. It will prompt the system message and click on \u201cYes\u201d to continue process.<\/p>\n

Step 6:<\/b> Changes to activity code must be followed by Folder validation or dictionary validation. To be quick do the dictionary validation of activity code.<\/p>\n

Step 7:<\/b> Now you can publish the web service successfully without any error.<\/p>\n
