There might be a scenario where you would like to create auto Quality Control against Purchase Receipt, you can do the setup as follows<\/p>\n

Go to the said path<\/span><\/span><\/span> Common data > Products > Product categories<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>How to add navigation buttons in left list in version 7<\/a><\/p>\n

Select the <\/span><\/span><\/span>category<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span> from the right list for which you would like to create auto QC Analysis Request.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Click on tab <\/span><\/span><\/span>Receipts<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Auto1\"<\/a>Select <\/span><\/span><\/span>Movement type<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span> as Supplier Receipt from the list.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"auto2\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Say <\/span><\/span><\/span>Yes<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span> under Column <\/span><\/span><\/span>QC request<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With the above setup system will create Quality Control <\/b><\/u>as soon as one will do the Purchase or Direct Receipt<\/b><\/u> for the defined Category and QC status is set as \u201cQ\u201d<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Check the same under Inventory–) Quality Control–) Quality Control<\/b><\/p>\n

Note-The same setup can be applied against all other Receipts related entry where QC is required.<\/b><\/p>\n
