Sage X3 version 7 has included a new feature in which we can directly add an external link for a website to the menu item.<\/p>\n

New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>How to mandate Dimension Types in any transaction wherever required at company level<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

To add an external link in menu item, navigate to:<\/p>\n

Administration>Authoring>Menu Items<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please refer below screen shot. In \u2018Link type\u2019 select \u2018External link\u2019.<\/p>\n

In URL section, just enter the desired URL you wish to open. I have added \u2018www.greytrix.com\u2019 here.<\/p>\n

Once your menu item is created, you just need to link it to the navigation page. I have added my menu item \u2018My URL\u2019 in a submodule \u2018My Sales Orders\u2019. Please refer below screenshot.<\/p>\n

Now click on the menu item and you will be redirected to the web page of the URL you inserted. i.e. Greytrix\u2019s home page in my case.<\/p>\n
