Sage X3 provides us left Selection List functionality so as to select the content in the screen. The data displayed on the left list are always a single record irrespective of number of detail lines; this is achieved by attaching the header table to the object.<\/p>\n

But, there may be certain scenarios where we refer the \u201cdetail\u201d table in the object and still want to display one record in the left list even if there are more than one details line exist for that record. To achieve this follow the below steps,<\/p>\n

  1. Navigate to Development > <\/strong>Script dictionary > Objects<\/strong>. In \u2018Selection\u2019 tab, select a field having unique value for a particular transaction and enter the condition in \u201cOption Condition\u201d.<\/li>\n
  2. Set Selection options as \u201cCode\u201d value and check \u201cHierarchical list\u201d checkbox. Kindly refer to the below screenshot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Then, Navigate to Development > <\/strong>Script dictionary > Windows. <\/strong>Under the \u2018Browser\u2019 tab, set \u201cList type\u201d as \u201cHierarchical\u201d. Refer the below screenshot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
