This blog gives you detailed information about the Nap feature from Sage X3. The Nap feature is very useful for users who want to open the object managed screen without going to Sage X3 Menu. The list below shows objects that can be used in the example \u2013<\/p>\n

Navigate to:<\/strong> Development > Processes > Objects<\/p>\n

For example, if the user wants to open the Sales Order or shipment screens without using the Sage X3 menu (Sales -> Order -> Orders).<\/p>\n

Syntax:<\/strong> GES <X3 object name>\/1<\/p>\n

Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. GES is referred to the Sage X3 function<\/li>\n
  2. SOH is the Sage X3 object for Sales Order<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Example:<\/strong> Nap \u201cGESSOH\/1\u201d<\/p>\n

    Syntax:<\/strong> GES<X3 object>\/1\/OBJ<X3 object>\/M\/<Input><\/p>\n

    Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. GES is referred to the Sage X3 function<\/li>\n
    2. SOH is the Sage X3 object for Sales Order<\/li>\n
    3. M or C is the mode: C for Creation and M for Modification<\/li>\n
    4. The input is the Sales Order number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      For example: Nap \u201cGESSOH\/1\/OBJSOH\/M\/SO003138\u201d<\/p>\n

      In the above example, the Sales Order screen is opened via code without using any Sage X3 menu or other ways. It will be useful when a user does not want any extra effort to get screen opened.<\/p>\n
