ups and Process of MRP \/MPS in Sage X3 V7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Prerequisites are as it is- <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Product Category or Product Site and do the following setups as per the requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Set Reorder Mode to \u201cby MRP\u201d or MPS based on requirement whether it is Manufacturing against SO or if it is being manufactured for stocking purpose.<\/li>\n<li>Reorder policy to \u201cBNT\u201d or whichever is suitable as per the requirement of a ZRM\/ IM \/ FG Products<\/li>\n<li>Suggestion Type to \u201cManufacturing\u201d for FG Products and set suggestion type to Purchase for RM or if it is a Purchased product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/product-Category.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8301 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagex3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/product-Category.jpg\" alt=\"Product Category in Sage X3\" width=\"573\" also fill in the other details like Safety stock, Reorder threshold, Maximum stock, and details under the section Planning and Lead Times, accordingly system will do the processing for MRP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Now go to <strong>Setup \u2192 Stock \u2192 Requirement parameters<\/strong> and define the parameters as per BOM Type \u2013 Manufacturing \/ Sub Contracted and BOM Code.<\/li>\n<li>Tag the weekly structure against the same along with other details as per below image.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Select order types to take into account in processing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Previsions: suggested customer orders (SOS)<\/li>\n<li>Planned customer orders (SOP)<\/li>\n<li>Firm customer orders (SOF)<\/li>\n<li>Suggested transfer requests (TRS)<\/li>\n<li>Planned transfer requests (TRP)<\/li>\n<li>Firm transfer requests (TRF)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Resources<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Planned Work Order (WOP)<\/li>\n<li>Work Order Firm (WOF)<\/li>\n<li>Planned Supplier Orders (POP)<\/li>\n<li>Firm Supplier Orders (POF)<\/li>\n<li>Planned\/firm transfer requests<\/li>\n<li>Planned Subcontract Orders (EOP)<\/li>\n<li>Firm Subcontract Orders (EOF)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Select storage site and reference date click on OK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a date, Demand, and supply, allocated qty, start date etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Next, go to <strong>Manufacturing \u2192<\/strong><strong>Planning\u2192<\/strong><strong>Enterprise Planning<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Select site and product and click on search button which will display results as mentioned below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a shown in below image<\/li>\n<li>These then can be converted into different transactions based on the type of suggestions i.e. Purchase request \/ Purchase order \/ Work order etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a
