Generally we may come across a situation in Sage X3 to build a date from its constituent parts.\u00a0gdat$ is the function to built a Date from its constituent parts i.e. small component part.<\/p>\n

Syntax:-<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

gdat$( Day,Month,Year )<\/p>\n

Parameters:-<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Day: Numerical integer expression for the value of the day.<\/p>\n

Month: Numerical integer expression for the value of the month.<\/p>\n

Year:\u00a0Numerical integer expression for the value of the year.1600<= Year\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <=9999 or 0 .The year may be expressed as 4 digits or as 2.<\/p>\n

Description:-<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

gdat$ is used to calculate a date from its 3 components. If it gives a number for the month that is negative or more than 12, the month is recalculated with modulo 12 and the correction made for the year. The same applies for a day number that is negative or greater than the number of days in the current month.<\/p>\n
