Instead of Javascript remoting we can use the new feature VisualForce Remote Object. While using Javascript remoting we need to write controller method with @RemoteAction notation, so this will no longer be needed if we use Visualforce Remote Object. Here are the some advantages over Javascript Remoting –<\/p>\n

  1. Only need a Visualforce Page.<\/li>\n
  2. No controller required so no need to write test class.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please note, this feature is under pilot release, so you need to raise a case to Salesforce to enable this feature.<\/p>\n

    In above snippet, we are calling retrieve<\/b> () method, which retrieves records by calling retrieve () on remote object model instance. Also, we can do CRUD operation using Visualforce Remoting Object as well.<\/p>\n
