The Force.com IDE is a powerful tool for deploying Force.com applications. It provides an iterative development process i.e. deploy the smallest subset of configuration changes possible.<\/p>\n

Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. \n

    Right Click Project Name >> Force.com >> Deploy to Server.\"deploy<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. The next window will appear requesting org credentials. Fill-up all the connection details i.e. username, password, and security token.<\/li>\n
  3. Click \u2018Next\u2019. Then a window will appear showing all metadata components list. Select components to be deployed using checkbox against it.

  4. Click \u2018Validate Deployment\u2019. It will validate all components before actual deployment and display result.<\/li>\n
  5. If validation is successful, Click \u2018Next\u2019. All selected components will get deployed to Salesforce Org.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Thus, we have discussed deploying the project in Salesforce Org using Force.com IDE. In our future blog, we will discuss the third method of deployment i.e. Migration using Apache Ant tool.<\/p>\n
