The feature provides completely dynamic mapping where you can refresh fields and map ERP field with Salesforce field and can fetch and store data in Salesforce. Not just this, we can set relationship between two objects, we can set filters for a particular object, chain to another syncing process. This data can further be leveraged to perform analysis using any Wave analytics, Dashboard reporting and visual charts.<\/p>\n<p>Please follow the below steps how to create Entity mapping in integration.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Login<\/strong> to Salesforce.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Go to<\/strong> App menu and select \u201cGUMU&#x2122; Settings\u201d App from the list.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Click<\/strong> on \u201cImport Data\u201d menu to view the entity list page<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0Entity mapping list page will display the Entity Synchronizations as shown in above screen.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1999\" style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Entity-Syncing_1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1999\" class=\"wp-image-1999 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Entity-Syncing_1.jpg\" alt=\"GUMU Entity Syncing 1\" width=\"680\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1999\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Entity Synchronization<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u2013 &gt;\u00a0You will see \u201cNew Entity Mapping\u201d button. The entity mappings are identified by their names and hence the name should be unique for each Entity mapping.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong> Salesforce object name as the Target entity.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Click<\/strong> on Entity look-up to select appropriate Sage ERP X3 entity (e.g. CustomerHeader).<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0Chain-To is an optional field. You can chain the import of data using this feature. If the syncing is chained, it would trigger the syncing of the next entity in chain once the current import has been executed.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0You can even schedule Entity import to run on a regular basis by configuring the Schedule section.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2001\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Entity-Syncing_3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2001\" class=\"wp-image-2001 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Entity-Syncing_3.jpg\" alt=\"GUMU Entity Syncing 3\" width=\"700\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2001\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Entity import<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u2013 &gt;<strong>Click<\/strong> on \u201cRefresh Fields\u201d and this will bring the list of all the fields in the target entity in the Mapping tab.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;<strong>Map<\/strong> the appropriate ERP fields from Source Field list against Salesforce fields.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;You can also provide filter for Entity sync to retrieve records based on specified conditions<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2002\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Entity-Syncing_4.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2002\" class=\"wp-image-2002 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Entity-Syncing_4.jpg\" alt=\"GUMU Entity Syncing 4\" width=\"700\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2002\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Entity Sync<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Click<\/strong> on \u201cAdd Filter Row\u201d button to add filter row. Select source field from the list for which you want to set filter and add the value for the field.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Select<\/strong> the Active checkbox for all the filter criteria that you want before saving the Entity Sync.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0You can either deactivate the filter by unchecking the active check box or remove the filter by selecting the record and hitting the \u201cRemove Filter Row\u201d button.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0You can set relationship for the Sync if the target object has a parent in Salesforce (e.g. Account-Contact).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2003\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Entity-Syncing_5.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2003\" class=\"wp-image-2003 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Entity-Syncing_5.jpg\" alt=\"GUMU Entity Syncing 5\" width=\"700\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2003\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Relationship for Sync<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u2013 &gt;\u00a0To add a relationship, click on \u201cAdd Row\u201d button.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Select<\/strong> target field from the list.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Select<\/strong> source field from the list.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0<strong>Select<\/strong> Parent Object Name from the list of Salesforce Objects (i.e. Account is parent object of Contact object in Salesforce).<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0You can remove relationship by selecting the relation record and clicking on \u201cRemove Row\u201d button.<br \/>\n\u2013 &gt;\u00a0After setting all the information, click on \u201cSave button\u201d.
