Our\u00a0GUMU™ SAGE ERP Integration for Salesforce<\/a>\u00a0(Sage 100<\/a>,\u00a0Sage X3\/EM<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Sage 300<\/a>) is a real-time bi-directional link. Using GUMU™ user can sync data between Salesforce to Sage ERP and vice versa.<\/p>\n

In this blog, we will discuss one of the key features of GUMU™ Integration. You can promote an already existing Account in Salesforce as a Customer in Sage 300.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> It is mandatory to synchronize some required entities such as Category and Tax group before promoting a customer to the Sage 300.<\/p>\n

-> Click on GUMU Integration<\/strong> app.
\n-> Click on Accounts<\/strong> tab. A list of all Accounts in the Salesforce Organization is displayed.
\n-> Open an Account which is not linked with any Sage 300 Customer. The Account detail screen appears as below along with a Promote Customer<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

-> Click on Promote Customer<\/strong> button. The screen navigates to a page for entering details required for promoting a Customer.
\n-> Fill the required details-<\/p>\n

Integration –<\/strong> Specify the configured Integration name
\nCategory –<\/strong> Specify the Category
\nTax Group –<\/strong> Specify the Tax Group
\nCustomer No –<\/strong> Specify the non-existing Customer No.<\/p>\n

-> Click on Promote<\/strong> button. The corresponding Account gets promoted to Sage 300 and can be viewed in the ERP system.
\nTo verify if an Account is promoted, click on the Customer No link below and it will display the real time details of a Customer.<\/p>\n
