You can promote an already existing <strong>&#8220;Account&#8221;<\/strong> in Salesforce, as a <strong>&#8220;Customer&#8221;<\/strong> in Sage 100 ERP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Note: It is mandatory to synchronize some required entities such as <strong>AR Division, Terms Code, Ship Method and Tax Schedule<\/strong> before promoting a customer to the Sage 100.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> Click on <strong>GUMU Integration<\/strong> app<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/1_GUMU-Integration.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/1_GUMU-Integration.jpg\" alt=\"GUMU Integration\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> Click on <strong>Accounts<\/strong> tab. The Account detail screen appears as below along with a <strong>Promote Customer<\/strong> button. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/3_Account.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/3_Account.jpg\" alt=\"Account Layout\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click on <strong>Promote Customer<\/strong> button. The screen navigates to a page for entering details required for promoting a Customer. Fill the required details- <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/5_Assigned-salesperson.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/5_Assigned-salesperson.jpg\" alt=\"Assigned Salesperson\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>If a Salesperson is mapped to the user in GUMU Salesperson mapping then it value on this screen will be auto-populated while promoting the account, however the user always has the option to select\/change a salesperson manually.<strong><br><\/strong><\/p><cite> But do remember that changing the Salesperson will have an impact on the &#8220;Record Ownership&#8221; once the Import Routine for &#8220;Account\/Customer&#8221; update executes.
